Hookova runs in the browser, but the two places you actually collect things from — the web and your phone — get their own build. Both are free and neither spends a credit to save.

v0.3.1

Chrome extension

One click on the toolbar saves the page you’re on — article, product, thread or video. Hookova reads it, writes the synopsis and files it under a category for you. Right-click works too, on a page or on a link.

Download .zip20 KB · Chrome & Edge

Not on the Chrome Web Store yet, so it installs unpacked — the three steps beside this take about a minute. See what it does.

Install in three steps
  1. 1
    Unzip it

You'll get a hookova-extension folder. Keep it somewhere permanent — Chrome loads it from that path every time it starts.

  2. 2
    Load it unpacked

Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode (top right), then Load unpacked and pick the folder.

  3. 3
    Sign in to Hookova

In the same browser profile. The extension reads that session out of the cookie jar — there's no second login and nothing is stored.

iOS app

Share any TikTok, Short or Reel straight from the share sheet and it comes back saved and summarised in seconds: tags, notes, timestamps and Obsidian export, right on your iPhone.

Download on the App Store

Not on the App Store yet. There’s no waitlist and nothing to sign up for — it’ll appear here the day it’s approved. Everything it does, the web app already does today.
